This presentation explores
the challenges and rewards of a short-term interpersonal group from
the perspective of a first-time group therapist. It addresses
dilemmas and surprises around group marketing and organization;
co-leader differences; planning for the unexpected; the use of
“check-ins;” co-leader absence; issues of time; and transference
reactions.
