“Helping the Helpers” Theory and Practice of Post Traumatic Stress Treatment in Groups

An exploration of theories and trauma treatment will be followed by a discussion with members of at least two ‘helpers’ support groups – therapists and volunteers from Ground Zero. The unique problems of leading a group of people directly and vicariously traumatized will be explored.
