Coping Skills for Families with Chronic Illness

Using a unique coping skills model, this presentation will describe a 6 week

process for working with parents and children in which the child has

diabetes. The skills apply equally well to any chronic illness. The

intervention was designed as part of a research study at Yale University

School of Nursing.
