Chairs:

Rafe Blaugrund, Ph.D., Faculty, Center for the Advancement of Group

Studies, New York, New York

Gail Brown, M.A., Director, Academic Training, Center for Advancement of

Group Studies, New York, New York

Open to participants with less than four years of group psychotherapy experience

This workshop demonstrates the effectiveness of a "here and now" approach to group by emphasizing the relationships of group members in the present moment. Combining the techniques of bridging and immediacy, we study how group members re-live their historical patterns in the moment. Methods of formulating and timing of maturational interventions are explored.
