The intensity and depth of Psychodrama is an important venue for psychotherapy for hospitalized patients with short stays.  It quickly develops group cohesion, allows for rapid uncovering of core issues, and offers the opportunity to try on new and adaptive roles that will be effective in moving toward a better life.
