Each member's
narcissism impacts that of the other participants. On this basis,
members have a chance to enter with others more mature object
relations. If however, a too strong cohesion exists there is the
danger of reinforcing narcissistic defenses and thus of interfering
with the therapeutic influence of the moderator and the group.
