This workshop
describes an integrated/humanistic approach to outpatient group
treatment of adult sex offenders. Unlike cognitive behavioral models
using high levels of confrontation, relapse prevention training, and
education about the offense cycle, this approach emphasizes positive
relationships among group members and a safe climate as the
foundation of treatment.
