Workshop 2a
Fostering Growth in Women Group Leaders: Issues in Female Development

Presented under the auspices of the Women's Special Interest Group

Chair:

Hylene Dublin, M.S.W., CGP, FAGPA, Private Practice, Winnetka, Illinois

This woman's workshop will allow participants to identify and explore complex issues with mothers and other significant females. These often unresolved issues (attachment, identification, individuation, competition, collaboration, and mentoring) affect our functioning as group leaders. Resulting leadership and countertransference dilemmas will be explored as well as strategies for clarifying and dealing more effectively with them.
