This workshop will
enhance participants' self-awareness and knowledge of ethics and
ethical dilemmas in clinical practice. Participants will gain
increased understanding of their own ethical perspectives and an
awareness of the inconsistencies and ambiguities of applied ethics.
This workshop will cover topics such as: theories of ethics, record
keeping, consent for treatment, confidentiality, models for ethical
decision-making, new ethical dilemmas related to information
technology such as the internet and email, and the interface of
ethics and morality. The format will be interactional.
