Chair:

Psychology Counseling Center,

School, New York, New York
Open to participants with less than four years of
group psychotherapy experience
What do leaders
want? And what do group members want from a leader? These wishes
often go unspoken. Group wishes to rescue and be rescued are common
but often ignored. On one hand we see compassion and motivation for
growth. On the other are more tangled, hidden motives.
Using the group’s
experience, we will explore how rescue wishes can affect
group dynamics.
