Resistance is
natural in all group psychotherapy and can present a unique set of
challenges in involuntary groups. This workshop identifies the
common resistances found in mandated groups and examines ways to
resolve them using a here-and-now approach to individual,
interpersonal and group-as-a-whole interventions. Use of
countertransference, compassion and cognitive skills will be
discussed.
