While the ideas of
Buddhism and Western Psychotherapy have been extensively compared
and contrasted, little has been articulated on Buddhist perspectives
and group psychotherapy. In this workshop three Buddhist
practitioners and Psychodynamic group therapists explore and compare
group leadership interventions from contemporary Psychodynamic
(Modern Analytic, Object Relations, Systems-Centered) perspectives
and Buddhist views.
