Supervision
of the Psychoanalytic Process
Chair:
Clemens Loew,
Ph.D., Co-Founder, Co-Director,
National Institute
Psychotherapy,
New York, New York
Open to
participants with more than ten years of group psychotherapy
experience
Relational
conceptualization of supervision, such as mutuality and symmetry,
and shifts in the nature of supervisor’s authority, have made the
practice of supervision more interesting but complicated. Through
live supervisory demonstrations of individual cases by participants,
we will explore through group reactions such issues as creating safe
space and dimensions of power.
