Workshop 9
The Wizard of Oz as Group Therapist:
Invoking our Imaginative Processes
Chair:
Bruce
Bernstein, Ph.D., ABPP, CGP, FAGPA,
Private Practice, New York,
New York
We will explore
the Wizard in each of us, finding the intelligence, courage, and
heart to expand our imaginations. We will look at how the
imaginative process is articulated in groups, and the diverse ways
that we can work with it. Attention will be paid to the fine line
between good and wicked witches. If possible, come prepared to speak
for, or sing for, a character from either "The Wizard of Oz", movie
or book; "Wicked" by Gregory Maguire. Costumes welcome.
