Applying Chaos Theory
in the Psychotherapy Group
Chair:
Michael Frank, M.A., MFT, CGP, FAGPA, Private Practice,
Los Angeles,
California
Since a psychotherapy group is a complex, nonlinear, adaptive (i.e.,
chaotic) system, knowing about chaos theory can help us understand
how groups form, develop, and function. This interactive workshop
will explore chaos theory concepts and how to apply them to the
practice of group psychotherapy. No prior knowledge of chaos theory
is required.
