This program draws on the knowledge and experience of nationally renowned clinicians who have developed, adapted and assessed early intervention strategies for trauma. With specific reference to uniformed service personnel, the CISM model will be elaborated and adaptations of the model used by the Military and NYPD will be discussed. Consideration will be given to peer intervention programs as well as lessons learned from the mental health response to the Oklahoma Bombing.
