This program draws
on the knowledge and experience of nationally renowned clinicians
who have developed, adapted and assessed early intervention
strategies for trauma. With specific reference to uniformed service
personnel, the CISM model will be elaborated and adaptations of the
model used by the Military and NYPD will be discussed. Consideration
will be given to peer intervention programs as well as lessons
learned from the mental health response to the Oklahoma Bombing.
