The open session
concentrates on the role of the therapist, and in particular,
utilizing his/her subjective responses, to elicit and develop
passion in the group. The format consists of brief introductory
lecture (Billow), demonstration group and debriefing (Frankel),
discussions (Hopper, Cohn, Billow), and audience participation.

Objectives:
The attendee will
be able to:
1. Construct and extend their understanding of theory and clinical
intervention based on relational, existential, and group analytic
constructs.
2. Identify as well as experience various patterns of intrapsychic
and group process.
3. Evaluate a repertoire of therapeutic interventions in group
situations.
