Psychotherapy Experience with Seniors: Different Therapy and
Therapeutic Changes at Different Age Levels

We will discuss
the major difference in the problems with seniors in their 60s, 70s,
80s, and 90s and therefore differences in group therapy and
therapeutic changes, also the differences in feelings and problems
of seniors living in their homes and in assisted living homes. We
will demonstrate groups for each age level to illustrate the
differences in the problems and therapies.

The attendee will
be able to:

Describe the major transitions for people in their 60s, 70s, 80s and
90s.
2. Describe the different therapeutic approaches related to problems
in different age groups.
3. Describe the differences in experiences and therapeutic needs for
seniors living in different circumstances.
