in the Co-Led Group

Through didactic
and experiential opportunities we will demonstrate the power of
co-led group therapy while incorporating Modern Analytic concepts
such as contact function, progressive communication, bridging,
subjective and objective countertransference, and utilizing
aggression. We will illustrate creating cohesive, enduring,
passionate co-leading relationships. Attendees will discuss their
thoughts and feelings as we go through the day.

Learning
Objectives:
The attendee will
be able to:
1. Create and maintain an effective co-therapy relationship.
2. Identify and analyze common Modern Analytic techniques and
concepts including contact function, progressive communication,
bridging, subjective and objective countertransference, and using
previously unaccessed aggression.
3. Utilize and provide peer consultation in the co-therapy dyad,
deepening clinician’s personal process as well as the group process.
