Involuntary groups
are groups where membership is mandatory. Leaders of such groups are
given a great deal of power not often seen in voluntary groups.
Countertransference feelings include a powerful sense of
helplessness, hopelessness and frustration. Participants will
increase awareness, curiosity and insight into such
countertransference and explore how contemplative principles can be
used to resolve resistances and countertransference resistances in
the group.
