Leaders of Psychoeducational Groups

Open to participants with less than four years of group
psychotherapy experience
The newly
developed psychoeducational groups' curriculum will be presented.
All five modules will be experienced by participants, including
mini-lectures, discussions, and exercises. Emphasized will be the
needed adjustments from leading clinical groups to leading
psychoeducational groups.

1. Differentiate
between psychoeducational groups and clinical groups.
2. List the leader's major tasks, skills, and functions.
3. Describe a process for planning psychoeducational groups.
