Lies, Affairs and Group Therapy

Group therapy can be a positive and
powerful experience for individuals involved in an affair, either as
betrayer or betrayed. This experiential workshop is designed to help
participants gain knowledge and comfort in working with the terrain
of affairs, and to explore how they might use "affairs groups" in
their practice.

Objectives:
The attendee will
be able to:
1. Select suitable participants for a Split Self group.
2. Identify his/her own moral concerns and transference issues
related to affairs.
3. Formulate a plan for helping group members surface the painful
issues that underlie affairs.
