University, West Chester,
Pennsylvania
This course will demonstrate the use
of multicultural resources in group discussion. Using culturally
relevant materials promotes engagement and sets the foundation for
future trust to address problem areas. Using clips from books or
poems can diminish pressure on group members while simultaneously
promoting examples of change and progress.
