Mindfulness-Based Process Group Psychotherapy

This workshop will consist of both didactic and experiential elements. A mindfulness-based demonstration group will be presented.  Workshop participants will learn the benefits of mindfulness-based group therapy for both clients and therapists and will experience how mindfulness can facilitate participation in the process-oriented group.

Learning Objectives:

The attendee will be able to:

1.  Define mindfulness.

2.  Describe three mindfulness exercises.

3.  List five ways mindfulness practice can benefit group psychotherapy.
