Healing the Wounded Healer: Trauma, Resilience and Transformation!

This experiential workshop encourages participants to explore the struggles, traumas, and turbulence of clinical training, supervision, and practice within the context of clinical, institutional, and family-of-origin dynamics. The group process will integrate narrative and creative approaches to help participants access and share shame, fear,  passion, and community.

Learning Objectives:

The attendee will be able to:

1. Identify traumatic experiences during training, supervision and clinical practice that may be reenactments of family-of-origin issues.

2. Describe the dynamics and impact of these experiences.

3. Express the feelings embedded in these experience within the safety of a collegial community.
