Group
therapists in college counseling centers and other agency settings

to groups. Workshop leaders will share some creative approaches to
building group-supportive cultures. The special challenges faced
when working in very large and very small settings will be
discussed.

Objectives:
The attendee will
be able to:
1. Identify four
or more broad approaches to increasing internal referrals to groups
appropriate for large and small settings.
2. Discuss
several specific ideas that other counseling centers and agencies
have used successfully to increase internal referrals to groups.
3. Apply
knowledge gained to develop at least one new way to promote
counseling groups in one's own center or clinic.
