Judgement and Curiosity: Exploring Bion's K and -K
Chair:
Lawrence A.
Viers, PhD, CGP, Private Practice, Valparaiso, Indiana
Bion developed the concepts of Knowledge (K) and minus Knowledge
(-K) as elements of affect. An attitude of curiosity (K) about
events in group illuminates transference and resistance while
absolutes (-K) impose limits. This workshop will explore these
concepts through identification of absolutes and their effect on
self and others.
