How
to Submit Manuscripts for Publication in the International Journal of Group
Psychotherapy
Manuscripts--To
submit manuscripts for consideration for publication, send the
paper, preferably, as an email attachment to
info@agpa.org.
The manuscript must be
prepared according to the style outlined in the Publication Manual
of the American Psychological Association (Fifth Edition, 2001).
The names, highest degrees, titles, and professional affiliations of
the authors, as well as the address and email address of the
corresponding author, should appear on the title (first) page of the
manuscript. An abstract not to exceed 125 words comprises the
second page of the manuscript. Regular articles should not exceed
25 pages inclusive of references, figures, and tables. Brief
Reports should not exceed six pages.
Manuscript material
must be original, not previously published, in press in another
source, or under consideration for publication by another source.
Authors need to avoid sexist language and should ensure the
confidentiality of information concerning their clients/patients and
their groups by taking reasonable steps to avoid personally
identifiable information and/or by obtaining the consent of these
individuals or groups to publish such material. In the case of
research manuscripts, investigators must have complied with
contemporary standards of ethical behavior for human
experimentation.
